Question: Will mealworms approach a music source (ipod headphones)
Hypothesis: No, the mealworms will only approach the headphones as something to climb or hide under. The music will not matter.
Exploration Phase:
Trail One - Matt’s mealworms approached the music source. Was it because they were a source of cover? Or was it the vibrations? Trail Two - Matt’s 2nd attempt, headphones were suspended but the worms did not approach. Trail Three - Matt’s 3rd attempt, the mealworms headed strait for the headphones while they were on the outside of the dish but touching for vibrating effect. Trial Four - The fourth attempt, the music was turned off while the headphones were in the dish and the mealworms did not approach. While on the 5th and final attempt, the mealworms approached the headphones.
